Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about Moscow-Tehran relations at a meeting with heads of international news agencies.
The Russian president stressed that Russia’s relationship with Iran is developing well in many areas.
The head of state noted that Moscow had very reliable and business-like relations with late Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi. According to Putin, Raisi was a reliable partner.
The Russian leader expressed hope the new Iranian leadership of Iran will continue Raisi’s political course towards cooperation with Russia.
"We have the whole plan of joint efforts; we have trade and economic ties developing. Certainly, the desire is strong that we undertake extra efforts in the direction of development in the sphere of high technologies," Putin said.
